Job Description:

1. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
4. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track issues
5. Perform thorough regression testing when issues are resolved
6. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
7. Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
8. Monitor debugging process results
9. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Job Specification:

1. Proven work experience in software development
2. Proven work experience in software quality assurance
3. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
4. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
5. Hands-on experience
6. Experience working in an Agile development process
7. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
8. BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject with a minimum of 1+ years’ experience
